Hairi Katagiri

Born in 1963, Tokyo. She joined a theater group in 1982, while still at university. She makes her film debut in 1986 with Komikku Zasshi Nanka Iranai (Comic Magazine). Her activities range from appearing in plays, television dramas to films. In spring 2006, she published a book tiled Watashino Matka (Minun matkani) which includes episodes of her days in Finland. Besides her days in Finland for film shooting and private trip around Finland, there are stories on her previous journeys around the world or inside Japan.
