Biography #2 (for X-Men: The Last Stand)

Rebecca Romijn plays the evil and enchanting metamorph Mystique, who can transform into anyone or anything she touches in X-Men: The Last Stand

This year Romijn appears in two feature releases): Man About Town, opposite Ben Affleck and Alibi alongside Steve Coogan -- and as the title character in the WB dramedy series Pepper Dennis.

Previously she starred opposite Thomas Jane and John Travolta in The Punisher, and opposite Robert DeNiro and Greg Kinnear in Godsend. However, it was her role in Femme Fatale opposite Antonio Banderas that won her critical acclaim.

Romijn played a starring role in Rollerball, opposite Chris Klein and LL Cool J, and appeared opposite Al Pacino in Simone.

Romijn began crossing over from the fashion world with memorable appearances on the hit television shows Friends and Just Shoot Me, as well as hosting MTV's House of Style.

Rebecca Romijn-STAMOS returns as the evil and enchanting metamorph, who can transform into anyone or anything she touches, in X2

Romijn-Stamos co-starred opposite Al Pacino in Simone. She recently starred with Antonio Banderas in Brian De Palma's film noir Femme Fatale. Both films came on the heels of her starring role in Rollerball, opposite Chris Klein and LL Cool J, and the hugely successful X-Men.

Romijn-Stamos has made the successful leap from international model to busy actress. She began her acting career with memorable appearances on the hit television shows Friends and Just Shoot Me, cameos in films such as Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and hosting MTV's House of Style.

In her career as a model, Rebecca graced the covers of Cosmopolitan (including their biggest selling issue of the 90s), People, Marie Claire, Glamour, Elle, FHM, Shape, and the 1999 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has been featured in numerous prestigious print and television ad campaigns including Tommy Hilfiger, Pantene, Miller Lite, Halston, a Got Milk? ad and is currently the face of Liz Claiborne.
