Rachael Harris

Rachael Harris is not just a pretty face. Her boundless humor and quick wit are certain to earn her a place at the top of the comedy world. She will be seen in director Christopher Guest's upcoming film, For Your Consideration, this November.

Harris recently wrapped work on two additional feature films, Evan Almighty, starring Steve Carell, and License to Wed, starring Robin Williams. Previously she starred opposite Kirstie Alley in the much-talked-about Showtime series, Fat Actress. In the largely unscripted comedy, Harris played Alley's makeup artist, hairstylist and cheering squad member, Kevyn.

Harris is no stranger to comedy or improv. She is perhaps best known for her correspondent gig on the critically acclaimed The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In addition she has contributed to VH1's The Best Week Ever. She has also been seen on USA's Monk, Reno 911, NBC's Frasier and The West Wing, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, VH1's I Love The 80s Strikes Back and ABC's According to Jim.

Her film work includes Kicking and Screaming for Universal, opposite Will Ferrell, Best in Show, The Haunted Mansion, A Mighty Wind, Starsky & Hutch and After the Sunset. She also has an impressive background in theatre, where she has appeared in The Importance of Being Earnest, The Speed of Darkness and Home Fires.

Harris has also seen her share of success in the commercial world. Most recently she starred in a memorable T-Mobile commercial and a series of spots for Quaker Rice Snacks. She has also appeared in GEICO, AVIS, Expedia, Dinty Moore and Outback Restaurant commercials, and she brings to her work that je ne sais quoi that's hard to describe but inherently felt. If commercials had end credits, Rachael Harris would be at the top of the list.

A native of Ohio, after graduating from Otterbein College with a degree in Fine Arts, Harris moved to Los Angeles in the mid 1990s, where she joined the famed comedy troupe The Groundlings. She soon became a member of The Groundling Main Company, where she had a chance to focus on her skills and eventually teach class in The Groundling School of Improvisation.

Harris currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Adam Paul, whom she married in 2003.
