The daughter of an American United Nations food relief worker and a Haitian beauty queen, Meta Golding was raised in the United States, India, Haiti, France and Italy. After an injury sidelined her career as an Italian national figure skater, she brought her love of performance from the ice to the stage.
Her ability to speak three languages and various other dialects made this transition easier. Golding started acting in Italian theatre before heading back to the United States to attend Cornell University, where she earned degrees in Theatre Arts and International Relations. She was cast in ABC's daytime drama Loving, and in the features Louis & Frank and Kiss the Girls.
Her television credits include guest starring roles on Cold Case and Crossing Jordan, as well as a recurring role on JAG. She also worked double duty playing love interests in both CSI and Reunion.
Golding, who currently resides in Los Angeles, donates much of her spare time to an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.
