Charles Starrett (born March 28, 1903 in Athol, Massachusetts; died March 22, 1986 in Borrego Springs, California) was an Anmerican actor best known for his role as the 'Durango Kid'.
A graduate of Worcester Academy in 1922, he went on to study at Dartmouth College where he was a member of the football team.
His sidekick in the 'Durango' movies was a character called 'Cannonball' played by Dub Taylor.
