Juan grew up among sets and surrounded by actors and when he was only 5 years-old he acted in the film Juego de Poder in exchange for a salary and all the toys he wanted.
He studied acting with Cristina Rota in Madrid and with Uta Hagen in New York. He has worked in both films and theatre throughout his career.
