Texas Battle appeared in a supporting role in the Paramount/MTV Film's basketball movie Coach Carter, starring Samuel L. Jackson. Battle played 'Maddux,' a high school basketball player, who learns from Carter that there are other things in life besides basketball.
Battle recently wrapped a supporting role in the independent film Even Money (a.k.a. Jumpshot) opposite Nick Cannon and Kim Basinger. His small screen credits include guest starring roles on Fox's The Bernie Mac Show and UPN's The Parkers. He also recurred last year on UPN's All of Us, and currently has a recurring role on The WB's hit show One Tree Hill.
