Justin Falvey
Recently, Falvey was also an executive producer on The Contender (a co-production with Mark Burnett Productions).
Falvey was named to his current post in January 2002. Prior to his promotion, he served as a television development and programming executive with DreamWorks Television, since joining the company in 1995. In that capacity, Falvey supervised the development of and current programming on numerous shows, including Freaks and Geeks (the critically acclaimed series from executive producer Judd Apatow). Falvey also supervised the creation and development of The Job (the highly acclaimed comedy series co-created by Emmy Award-winner Peter Tolan and Dennis Leary) and Undeclared (which the New York Times called that season's best new comedy).
Prior to joining DreamWorks, Falvey started in the entertainment business at International Creative Management, as an assistant in the Television Literary Department, before working in development/current programming at NBC.
Prior to entering the entertainment business, Falvey began his career as an English teacher in Japan and Spain. Falvey graduated from Georgetown University in 1990 with a bachelor of science/bachelor of arts degree.
