Corinna Harfouch
East German born Corinna Harfouch discovered her love of the theatre at a very early age. After studying at the Ernst Busch Drama School in Berlin, she began her career on stage in productions such as Faust II, Lady Macbeth, Urfaust, and The Threepenny Opera. In the 1996/97 season she caused a sensation as Eva, Hitler's lover in the eponymous production by Stephan Suschke. She received the Gertrud Eysold Prize for her performance.
Her film work has garnered her two German Film Critics awards, a Bavarian Film Prize, two Golden Lions and the Adolf Grimme award, making her one of Germany's most respected and sought after actors.
Harfouch moves easily between stage, screen and television. Since 2001 she has played the lead in the successful TV series Blond: Eva Blond! After DOWNFALL, she worked on ICH LEBE! directed by Dagmar Knopfel. She is currently back in her role as Eva Blond for the small screen.
