Rebecca Creskoff

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Creskoff threw herself into plays with unbridled enthusiasm throughout her school years. After graduating from The University of Pennsylvania, she first realized that she could parlay her love for acting into a career when she discovered there were graduate acting programs. When she was accepted into New York University's MFA acting program, she decided to pursue an acting career full-time.

Her first big break was Steve Martin's off-Broadway play Picasso at the Lapin Agile, playing Einstein's girlfriend. She followed that with roles in the off-Broadway production of The Sleeping Hippo, A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Baltimore Center Stage and Arms and the Man at Williamstown. She is currently appearing in August Strindberg's play Miss Julie at the Berkshire Theater Festival.

Creskoff discovered her love for comedy after she landed her first television role on The Cosby Show. Through her work with Mr. Cosby, she found that sitcoms were much like theater - impromptu and very in-the-moment. Ironically, her next roles were guest appearances on The West Wing, The Practice, Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, playing serious, dramatic characters. She also dabbled in the feature film world with two independent movies entitled Friends and Family and Finding North.

Creskoff splits her time between Los Angeles and New York. When not working, she enjoys spending time working on the New York Times crossword puzzle, running and practicing yoga.
