Chris Gauthier

Born in Luton, Bedfordshire, UK, in 1976, Chris Gauthier has become one of Canada's busiest character actors. Four years ago, he made his screen debut in the Hallmark/Showtime miniseries A Girl Thing in a stellar cast that included Stockard Channing, Rebecca De Mornay, Mia Farrow and Kate Capshaw. He's since gone on to a rapid string of roles in such movies as 40 Days and 40 Nights, Insomnia, Agent Cody Banks, Freddy vs. Jason, Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, the new Stephen King movie, Riding the Bullet and the upcoming Edison, opposite Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman. He has appeared in episodes of Dark Angel, Smallville, The Chris Isaak Show, Dead Like Me and the Canadian hit series Da Vinci's Inquest.

His stage work includes The Beggars Opera with Caravan Farm Theatre, You'll Get Used To It! The War Show with Western Canada Theatre and The Importance of Being Earnest with Rocket Norton Theatricals. He also stays busy with commercials for Molson, Charmin, Mountain Dew (as the snowboard guy) and Pacific Bell (as the memorize guy).
