Eric Bruno Borgman

Eric Bruno Borgman (born June 23, 1975) is an American actor and filmmaker. Eric began making films at age 14 when he made a 13 minute film spoof of Mad Max called Mad Maxxy with his pet guinea pig and neighborhood cats. His love for Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton and silent comedies in general influenced him greatly and he began making silent films for fun. The Tree Surgeon, a silent short was the first film in which he took on the title role.

He majored in film production at Emerson College in Boston where he appeared on Emerson Independent Video's shows Koffee with Kent playing the nerdy newscaster and the skit comedy show Mannequins. During his college years Eric wrote, produced and acted in many more films.

After college he became a Screen Actors Guild member and worked for years as an extra and did bit parts in many films and television shows in the Boston area including Spenser: For Hire, Against the Law, The Cider House Rules, Me, Myself and Irene, Mr. Deeds, and Mystic River.

In 2003, Eric brought his feature Revolutionary War comedy-drama film The Deserter to fruition. He stars in the film and wrote and directed it.

He continues to act on stage and on film and is continuing to write and produce his own film projects utilizing his own brand of comedy. Eric's next feature comedy The Man in the Movie is currently in production.
