| by Dawn Thanks to Matthew MacFadyen, I'm no longer a bored housewife!  I have watched P&P over and over again and bought the soundtrack too. I love this movie!! This is the first movie I have seen Matthew in and hope to see him in many more, hopefully in the U.S.! It's pretty bad when your 4 year old says "Mommy! This is when Elizabeth is running over the bridge!" when we listen to the soundtrack CD. This movie has inspired me to paint again because after hearing this is the first motion picture Joe Wright has directed and he did such a Superb job, that I thought I need to re tap into my talent and hopefully have a successful first painting. | by Nicole in Arizona, U.S. I was completely spellbound when I saw "Pride & Prejudice" in the theatre, and I couldn't stop crying toward the end (especially during that "three loves" scene where he actually chokes up on the third "love" -- WOW!!!). I bought the DVD as soon as it came out and have lost track of how many times I've watched it. I didn't know of Matthew Macfadyen before seeing this film, but now I've started to check out other shows he's been in, starting with "Wuthering Heights." He's gorgeous in that film too! I think he did a wonderful job in P&P, and if this is an indication of what he can do in his other performances, I can't wait to see all that I can get my hands on. Oh, to see him live on stage back in his stage-acting days! I am hopelessly addicted to the film "Pride & Prejudice" now, and especially to Matthew Macfadyen. I hope to see more and more of him on the big screen as his popularity grows. YOU ARE WONDERFUL, MATTHEW MACFADYEN!!!!!!! Comment on this... |

| by Niharika I just love the performance of Matthew Macfadyen in Spooks.The great character Tom Quinn that he plays makes him simply the sexiest man I have ever seen. Though I didn't knoow at first that he was the same person who played Mr.Darcy in Pride & Prejudice(2005). At first ,in the trailers of Pride & Prejudice I was not very impressed by Matthew As Mr.Darcy, but When I watched the entire film I was simply spellbound by his amazingly speechless performance. As a result of Matthew as Mr.Darcy,I became his life long fan. Comment on this... |

| by Sherry When they cast this handsome man as Mr. Darcy, they couldn't have cast him more perfectly. He fit the roll like a smooth sleek glove fits a hand. His looks: rugged and not too pretty, His height and build: awsome, The sadden look he has: absolutely just right. And those eyes............. I love, I love, I loved them body and soul ( -: I truly hope to see him in more rolls like this where he is the leading man or the love interest because that smile wasn't to shabby either..
