Television credits include her recent starring role in the David E. Kelley produced series, Wedding Bells.
While studying at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Strickland was cast in The Sixth Sense, Girl Interrupted and other features filmed in Philadelphia. In May 2006, the University honored her with the Outstanding Alumni Award. Strickland's continued studies in New York took place with master teacher Maggie Flanigan at the Maggie Flanigan Studio.
