Lázaro Ramos
He learned his trade with the Bando de Teatro Olodum, in Salvador. He burst onto the Rio-Sáo Paulo scene with the play A Máquina, by Adriana Falcáo. He made his film debut with a small role in denipapo by Monique Gardenberg. Then he played in Cinderela Baiana alongside Carla Perez, and Women on Top, by the Venezuelan directress
Fina Torres. He played Catrevagem in As Três Marias, and the homosexual Madame Satá in the film of the same name, winning two international awards (Best Actor in the Huelva, Spain and Quito, Ecuador festivals) and two Brazilian prizes (Mostra Scco Paulo and Troféu APCA). In O Homem do Ano, he plays the mechanic Marccco. In O Homem Que Copiava, he is the photocopy machine operator André. His TV debut came in Os Pastores da Noite, a TV Globo miniseries based on the work by Jorge Amado.
