Kim Krizan and Richard Linklater collaborated previously, co-writing Before Sunrise. She has written numerous screenplays, including historical biographies of Mata Hari and Anais Nin that are currently optioned. Krizan is sought-after for her re-writes and is also beginning work on her first novel. She has also appeared as an actor in the cult classics Slacker, Dazed and Confused, and Waking Life.
Krizan also teaches college-level English. She earned her Master's degree in literature and her thesis explored the psychology of the creative process via an examination of the diaries of Anais Nin.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, producer/director Chip Mosher.
