Colleen Zenk Pinter

Colleen Zenk Pinter is an American actress, who was born on January 20, 1953 in Barrington, Illinois. She is best known for her role as the beleaguered fashionista Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns, a role she started playing on the show in 1978. She is married to fellow soap actor Mark Pinter.

For most of her time on the show, her character, Barbara, has been harassed by her criminal ex-husband, James Stenbeck (played by Anthony Herrera). Recently, her character was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Unlike the clichéd soap staple of yore, classic drama was played out when, as a result of the tumor, Barbara lost her eyesight.
