Chappell is more notably known for her roles on Days of Our Lives as Dr. Carly Manning (1990-1993), as well as her stint as Sister Maggie Carpenter on One Life to Live (1995-1997). Currently, she is playing unlucky villainess Olivia Spencer on Guiding Light (1999 - ).
She is married to fellow soap opera actor Michael Sabatino.
