| by Vicki H. Hello to everyone: I also was drawn back to peter after a program aired here in Atlanta, I fell for him when I was 14 and the show first aired, I read on a different site that Geoff suffers from a Bi-Polar disorder and has a drinking problem, I will just bet you that peter had the same Bi-Polar disorder and if the anti depressant drugs we have today were available back then, I honestly believe he would still be with us! | by Dotti I agree. I just started taping old episodes of Alias Smith and Jones and my facination with him has also been rekindled. He had such talent and charisma. I think he would have gone far. I was 13 in 1971 and was also drawn to him and thought he was the greatest thing in the world. I felt confused when he committed suicide. I understand more now. Its sad that he didn't leave a larger body of work. I think it would be a great gift to us all. I haven't been able to find anything other than AS&J on VHS or DVD. Comment on this... | ||||

| by Ina The first time I saw Pete on screen was back in early 1971, when "Alias Smith and Jones" first premiered. At the tender age of 8, I was immediately attracted to his looks, personality, and of course, talent. Thirty-one years later, in 2002 my interest in Pete resurfaced again, and my feelings for him are much stronger than it was back in 1971. As a result of this strong interest in him, I began collecting VHS/DVD of his tv/movie appearances. The more I watched his tv/movie appearances, the more I began to realized what a gifted, talented actor he was. If he would have lived, I believe he would went on to become a successful writer, director, or producer. Comment on this... |
