Oanh Nguyen
Oanh Nguyen was born in Saigon. His family was evacuated to the United States two days before the fall of South Vietnam. Raised in California, Oanh
studied theatre and in 1997 founded The Chance Theatre, where he serves as Executive Director. He made his feature debut in the film Clockstoppers.
His theatre credits include De Donde, Blood Wedding, Love Letters, The Skin of our Teeth, Hot LBaltlmor, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, where he met his wife, actress Erika Ceporious. His television credits include roles in Saved By the Bell, Hang Time, Kenan and Kel, Party ofFive, The Beast and Andy Richter Controls the Universe.
He is also a published playwright with works that he also directed including Undeclared, Is Pepperoni a Vegetable? and Other-Mysteries ofLove and But I Don't Feel Grown-Up.
