Hey Paulo,
Well here's the thing. Do I think Paz is pretty? Yeah, for a Spanish Woman she does have cute features, BUT, I dont think she is the most beautiful woman in the world. I have seen woman with prettier eyes and features but for a Latino actress I say Paz is pretty. Same thing goes for Ava Gardner, sorry to disagree here, but I honestly never found Ava Gardner "beautiful" - period. Maybe attractive and a good actress but I really wouldnt go that far to say she was the most beautiful woman of all time. NO WAY! IN the days of the Olden Age Actresses I would have to go with Grace Kelly and Debra Paget on that. I hope we can be friends even though our opinions may differ. Thanks for hearing me out.

P.S. By the way Paz Vega is much prettier than Liz Taylor. I dont see one ounce of a Resemblance of her in Paz. Paz has her own good looks, far better than Liz Taylor.

i want to just give a few friendly comments.. i hope you are not offended. it's just that saying paz is cute for a latino is like me saying Grace and Paget were good=looking for Irish woman..The last long post i put up was deleted because i had put some facts that you could read on the internet,but most of these people are just interested in their own tastes which is ok. i have no problem with that but why delete someone elses opinion.. i had written that Mickey Rourke had said at a premiere that he thought Paz was one of the most beautiful woman to hit Hollywood in years . I f you remember he also starred with a young Bassinger.. Not to take anything away from her. i also think she is a first class beauty.also one only has to watch Mogambo to see Ava's beauty buries Kelly. again my opionion only , but the list of people who praised her beauty are many. lana turner ,liz taylor.frank sinatra .patricia mendina, ernest hemmingway, john huston. all said ava was most beautiful .. again everyone has their opinion, and i respect them. but you can look up on the internet for these facts.. thanks for listening, and i am in no way dissing anyone else's opionion.. thanks

That's what Mickey Rourke thought about Paz. That is only HIS OPINION of what he thinks of her in his eyes. IT DOESN'T MAKE IT TRUE THAT PAZ IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN HOLLYWOOD CUZ IN MY OPINION THAT IS CRAZY!

of course, he is stating an opinion of taste as you are and i am... i don't think i wrote that he said most beautiful in the world, but i guess he was quite impressed.. again it would be hard not to be impressed with Bassinger, although i don't think the chemistry was right between them.. i don't think they especially got along.. i think i read that somewher.i mean if you are to believe the Hollywood publicity machine then were all wrong. according to Julia Roberts and 20/20 Aishwarya Rai the Indian Bollywood actress is supposed to be the world's most beautifull woman..they had a segment on 20/20 that she was the most beautiful in the world... I was impressed ,but i don't know most beautiful...comments

i agree. i don't think she is most beautiful either. i think she got alot of milage out of the Julia Roberts quote, which thurst her in the main stream... I agree Paz is , again to me one of the most natural beauties in Hollywood. In Spanglish she had on little makeup, and was dressed down.. she really has not had a Hollywood moviie which showcases her looks...but in Hollywood you must have an angle to get into the mainstream.. i hope Paz does get it in the future... Her one big hangup,, her accent..thanks Jack..and her insistence on playing character roles..instead of sexy bombshells.. one movie that i would like to get that i hear she looks awesome in is Carmen, but it is not released in US

all rourke said was he though Vega was the most beautiful woman to hit Hollywood in years..As far as Gardner goes.. I would not say she is especially one of my favorites, but those were quotes i read.. I do agree that Gardner was better than Liz.. the best shot of Gardner i ever saw was on the 1951 cover of Time . She really does look awesome in that shot.. I also am a big fan of Bassingers although i think her husband is not a nice person.I don't think Rourke was comparing Vega to anyone in particular.. I am sure he was quite impressed with Kim,although i heard they didn't get along.i also like paget and Kelly.. Don't really want to argue, i really respect everyones tastes and opinions.. And i think that the concensus on all the woman mentioned would be they are all great beauties. i did mention that i didn't think Sharon Stone was a beauty, but i must admit she was awesomely sexy.. esp around the Basic Instint period which i thought she looked great..i did buy the Spanish movie SEX AND lUCIA , and in the special features there is a interview with Paz outside in natural light, and i ;speaking for myself was quite awed by her beauty..i also like Madeleine Stowe when she was young she had a delicate beauty... thanks again Jack

Wow, Jack! I respect your opinions very much but when it comes to Ava Gardner I am soo shocked by what you said these other stars stated about her being the most beautiful woman of the era. Sorry But i think not! I really find that hard to believe being that I never saw the big fuss about Ava Gardner. I am sure she was a damn good actress but as far as her looks go I never found her that striking and certainly far from ever being the most beautiful woman in her day. I am sorry, Jack! As a matter of fact I think all the woman you mentioned bury Gardner in a nutshell!

i also like Charlize Theron, who i think is very photogenic.. Angelina Jolie made the cover of People's most beautiful, but i consider that magazine issue more of whose is hot at the moment...i believe she is beautiful but she is very thin, and her face is a bit angular. i don't consider her more beautiful than Paz, or any of the other woman we have been discussing.. i think Nicole Kidman was a beauty when young ,,but her face is alittle too doll-like for my taste.like a young Joey Heatherton..
