Pierre Curzi is a familiar face in the Quebec film world. His many roles include Jean-Philippe Duval's Matroni and I, the French production of Noces Rouges directed by Christian Faure, Charles Biname's Chili's Blues, Yves Simoneau's In the Belly of the Dragon and Blind Trust, as well as You're Beautiful Jeanne directed by Robert Menard, Paul Tana's Caffe Italia Montreal and Denys Arcand's Murder in the Family. He has also appeared in countless television productions including the series Virginie, Le Masque, Marguerite Volant, Million Dollar Babies, Les Filles de Caleb and Les Dames de Couer.
On stage, Curzi appeared in L'Hiver de Force both in Canada and in Paris at the Theatre de L'Odeon. Among his 40 stage productions are Le Mouton et la Baleine directed by Wajdi Mouawad, Trick or Treat directed by Fernand Drainville and La Mouette directed by Andre Brassard. Curzi has been President of the Union des Artistes since 1997 and Co-President of the Coalition for Cultural Diversity.
