While a Stewardess for United Airlines my flying partner and I checked into the Multanomah Hotel in Portland, OR and we heard singing down the hall from our room. We walked down and saw the door was open and inside were Paul Anka and the Everly Bros. They were preparing for a concert that evening and invited us in to listen to them rehearse. They invited us to the Concert but, unfortunately, we had a flight later that evening. This occurred in 1957/1958.

Coincidentally, I eventually married a Publicity Manager from UAL in 1959 and approximately 6/7 years later Paul Anka visited Washington, D.C. and publicity pictures with him holding latest record and my son, Mark, were taken
when he exited the plane.

Anka made early movies in the 1950'sincluding,Girls Town',The Private Lives of Adam & Eve, and Look in any Window.All good movies,not found on DVD or VHS.
