As host for the first season of fX's flagship show The X Show, Mark DeCarlo honors his Second City improv comedy roots by performing an hour of almost live television every night. DeCarlo left the show in June 2000 to create and host Sunday Dinner for Hallmark Entertainment. He is a regular fixture in the cartoon world, voicing various characters on Duckman, Rugrats, and the Steve Oedekerk's projects Thumbtanic, Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle, and the ABC special "Santa vs. The Snowman where he voiced the Security Elf opposite Jonathan Winters.
In 1998, DeCarlo and Mark Walberg formed a production company, GlugginMARX and have partnered with Dick Clark on the relationship talk show The GAME. DeCarlo and Walberg will appear together to host a new talk show featuring regular people in extraordinary circumstances. Both shows will premiere fall of 2001.
