Chico Benymon
A native of Amityville, New York, Benymon is first and foremost an R&B singer. He comprises one-third of the Will Smith-produced singing group, Tra-Knox. The group recently performed the theme song to the summer film Men in Black II, titled Black Suits Coming (Nod Your Head), with Smith, who also stars in the film. Tra-Knox is currently recording their self-titled debut album.
Benymon arrived in Los Angeles in the fall of 2000. Within three months, he landed a guest spot on UPN's hit show Moesha and was asked to reprise his role shortly thereafter.
The youngest of three boys, Benymon began taking piano lessons at the age of five. By age seven, he was the organist at Saint John's Baptist Church in Amityville, New York.
Benymon resides in Los Angeles. He enjoys singing, writing, basketball, football and bowling.
