Angelle Brooks
Born and raised in Los Angeles, the youngest of four children, Brooks had no family connection with show business. Though she did play an angel in a church play when she was five, it was not until her church developed its drama ministry that Brooks found her vocation.
Following acting, singing and dancing lessons, Brooks appeared in many stage plays, television series and movies. She had recurring roles in CBS' The Young And The Restless and UPN's Malcolm & Eddie. Additionally, she appeared on ABC's NYPD Blue and Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, NBC's The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and Built To Last, and a memorable role as Martin Lawrence's ex-girlfriend on FOX's Martin. Her feature film experience includes roles in Rituals, The Book Of Love and Fraternity Boys, directed by Robert Townsend. Both Rituals and The Book Of Love are currently making the rounds on the film festival circuit.
