In theater Richard Day directed the Off-Broadway production of his play, Straight-Jacket, which was published in the anthology Plays and Playwrights 2001, and recently concluded its second New York run. In television, he has written for and produced The Larry Sanders Show, Mad About You, and Ellen, and has been nominated for three Emmys.
He is presently in post-production on the film version of his play, STRAIGHT-JACKET. Girls Will Be Girls is his first film.
