Joanna Chilcoat
Seventeen-year-old Joanna Chilcoat lives in Baltimore, Md. She first appeared professionally when she was 9 as the principle character Katy in the syndicated children's show Bloopy's Buddies from NJT Studios. She recently graduated ('03) with honors from Carver Center for Arts and Technology where she excelled at her prime study, acting, as well as in her advanced placement academic courses. She studies voice and dance outside of school. As part of a professional educational theater project, Joanna performs at a local professional venue (Toby's The Dinner Theatre of Columbia) that hosts middle schools to see theatrical adaptations of books they have read and afterwards discuss the work with actors. She has appeared in numerous professional and community theater productions, such as Godspell, The Sound of Music, Jerry's Girls, Damn Yankees, Children of Eden, and A Little Night Music.
