| by Will Right then, T'was'nt a fan of the programme until only recently...the first season turned me off a bit...but have since rejoined the show when Diane Neal began to appear. Her character is a ballsy, take-no-prisoners sort...and I love the mentor relationship with Marlo Thomas' character. And...being a guy...I have to admit...she is one insanely gorgeous woman. | by Chris Hagen I prefer Stephanie March, I think loyalty to a well established character is why people bash a replacement. But I've given her a chance and she's good in her own right. As for being attractive, I mean honestly - real female lawyers don't look like Diane Neal or Elizabeth Rohm (if they did, perhaps I'd get in trouble more often! Haha). But I guess that's why it's on TV. At least Steph March looked like a hardcore feminist who'd want to bust the balls of rapists. Comment on this... |

| by L.G. Okay, when Diane (whom I swear I'd only previously seen in the SVU ep. "Ridicule" and a toothbrush commercial) showed up as ADA Casey Novak, I thought "Oh, great, this character is just gonna be a pale imitation of Cabot." Well, I was wrong. In episode after episode, Ms. Neal has brought her own special star quality to her role. She's one of the finest young actresses around today. It seems now that some people like to hate on her. Oh well, we who admire and appreciate her acting know she's better than her detractors claim.
