Constance Zimmer
A native of Seattle, Washington, Zimmer also spent much of her childhood in the Los Angeles area and decided to pursue a career in acting after she fell in love with the craft as a high school student. Once out of high school, Zimmer was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, and began appearing in local theater. She is also the recipient of a
Best Actress Dramalogue Award, for her work on stage in
Catholic School Girls.
After paying her dues in a number of notable commercial spots, she booked her first TV guest-starring roles on the hit shows Seinfeld and Ellen. Working steadily ever since, Zimmer also has appeared in the television shows Philly, The X-Files, Gideon's Crossing, NBC's Providence, The King Of Queens and Chicago Hope. She has also had recurring roles on The Fighting Fitzgeralds, The Trouble With Normal, Hyperion Bay and The Wayans Bros. Her feature-film credits include the independent films Home Room, Spin Cycle, Warm Blooded Killers, Body Shots and Senseless.
When not acting, Zimmer's creativity comes out in her handmade jewelry, candles and greeting cards, among other things. She also enjoys daily hikes in the Los Angeles canyons, spending time with friends and taking care of her dog and two cats.
