Stupefacente la sua interpretazione di buscetta nel "Il capo dei capi" e altrettanto coinvolgente nel ruolo di "Mariani" nella fiction "Intelligence"

I had a feeling he must be married, since his vulnerable masculinity is quite irresistable - I couldn't imagine that he wouldn't have been pounced on by some intelligent woman. Still, I had hoped that he was single - just for fantasy's sake.... Ah well, I hope he's happily married and his wife makes him feel like the magnificent beautiful man the rest of us see in him. Vince, thanks for showing that side of you on screen.

Molto Bravo!! (Tue Mar 31, 2009 10:48pm ET)report post

March, 2009, and I just watched "Under The Tuscan Sun" for the first time ... with an encore last night: It's such a charming, modern fairytale of a flick, loaded with talent and, of course, scenery beauteous in every sense.
Without question, Vincent Riotta's character is magnetic and subtle, and all of that unrequited, gracious sexual tension between his character and "Francesca" carries the film. Is there life after that La Dolce Vita dénoument at the fountain?
UTTS has doubtless produced a demographic of fans who want to see more of the marvelous Vincent Riotta -- and I am in that number.

I know Vincenzo personally as Vince and he is truly a wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, genuinely awesome individual. He is an extremely talented and accomplished actor and I would hope that we would see more of him in good roles such as in Under The Tuscan Sun. I am honored to call him my friend.

Vincenzo Ricotta e molto bello (Mon Nov 14, 2005 3:14pm ET)report post

A resounding "bravo" to the casting directors of Under the Tuscan Sun for gracing our screens with the rugged yet sophisticated Vincenzo Ricotta. (Yes, ladies, that is his real Italian name; Vincent Riotta appears to be a stage name.) Those fathomless blue eyes, that olive complexion, wavy dark hair, Dio mio! I am an Italian-American New Yorker...Vinnie, carino, if you ever take Manhattan, take me too!

I can't tell you how many times I've watched Under the Tuscan Sun, just to watch him exude the most fabulous masculinity, while still remaining tender and vulnerable underneath that gorgeous package he walks around in.
Why can't we find out any information on him? I am truly a fan and will look for his other credits. Vincent, You are magnificent!!
