Ron Liebman
Off-Broadway, his performance as Shylock in The New York Shakespeare Festival's The Merchant of Venice won him Obie and Drama Desk Awards, honors he also received for Transfers. He also appeared in Rich and Famous, and The Dybbuk, which garnered him another Drama Desk Award.
His film work includes Norma Rae; Night Falls On Manhattan; Slaughterhouse Five; Where's Poppa; The Hot Rock; Supercops; Romantic Comedy; Up The Academy; Zorro, The Gay Blade; and Just The Ticket. He was recently seen in Paul Schrader's Auto Focus and Rebecca Miller's Personal Velocity.
Liebman also won an Emmy award for Kaz, an hour-long drama series he created, and has had recurring roles on Friends and Central Park West. His other television credits include the movies Christmas Eve (for which he received a Golden Globe nomination); Terrorist On Trial; Rifkin: Bounty Hunter; Many Happy Returns; and Don King: Only In America.
In Los Angeles, he has appeared on stage in Angels in America, and with his wife Jessica Walter in Rumors and Tartuffe.
