I thought that Katherine did a good job in a bad movie ("From Justin to Kelly"). Even though she had to play a cardboard character (like all the characters in that movie), she did the best with the hand that she was dealt, and added some nice touches along the way. Aside from some of Kelly Clarkson's music (always appreciated by me), she was the bright spot in that movie.
I'm looking forward to seeing her in more movies - ones that give more scope for her talents. I hadn't known that she is a good dancer, and maybe that is something that should be worked into some future movie roles, as was done with Mandy Moore's singing in "A Walk to Remember". It's nice to see multi-talents in movies!

I agree with you- Katherine was the best thing in the movie!!! Actually the movie wasn't that bad .I started watching it on HBO and the next thing i knew was that i had watched the entire movie. It is a great movie for kids. I thought the music was good and not trashy like so many movies today. I too hope to see Katherine in more movies.

She's absolutely beautiful, and a great dancer and singer, but she's a horrible actress. If she's from Mississippi, why did her southern accent sound so fake in From Justin to Kelly? I just think her acting is way too staged. She could probably be a great host, or try theatre, or a model - but I don't think she's right for the film industry.

I would have to disagree with that. Maybe you are just used to fake accents and don't recognize the real deal. I have met her in person and she is far from fake. When I first met her, she was sitting on the counter in her mom's house knitting a scarf. Thats not something you would expect from someone who is famous. She is beautiful and as sweet as she can be(much like her mother). If you want to see her best acting, watch that NCIS episode she was in where she played the mean cheerleader... I didn't even think that was her.
