Brian Posehn

A Bay-area native, Brian Posehn began performing stand-up comedy in San Francisco in 1989. In 1993 Posehn moved to Los Angeles to write for television, including stints at MTV and The Jon Stewart Show. He next joined the supporting cast of Mr. Show with Bob and David, which was started by his friends Bob Odenkirk and David Cross, and subsequently joined the writing staff.

Besides writing and performing on Mr. Show since its second season, he has acted on various sitcoms including Seinfeld, Newsradio, Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends. He's written an episode of Space Ghost and has a regular role on the acclaimed comedy series Just Shoot Me. He recently co-wrote (with Patton Oswalt) and sold a movie with Red Hour to Miramax.
