Damien Richardson
Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1991, Richardson's career has focused on the theatre. Most recently he appeared alongside
Guy Pearce in Face to Face for Playbox Theatre, Melbourne in 2000. Prior to that, Richardson has performed in many productions for Melbourne's legendary fringe theatre venue La Mama, as well as the Carlton Courthouse. He co-wrote and performed in In the Belly of the Whale which won Best New Drama at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 1995. The play was produced again for the 1996 Melbourne Comedy Festival and toured Tasmania and the Adelaide Festival. He has written two other theatre pieces, Hysteria and Four Play. Richardson's film credits include the independent productions, Mallboy (1999), Redball (1997), Every Night, Every Night (1993) and Horseplay (2002). For television he has appeared in Blue Heelers, Stingers and Janus.
