Tang Yun
Tang Yun started playing the violin with his father, Tang Yin Hu, when he was just four years old. At age nine, he was accepted into Grammar School of Shanghai Music Academy and graduated with honors in 2000. Tang's debut was a critically acclaimed performance at the Shanghai Music Hall, the same year he began studies at the High School of Shanghai Music Academy. In 2001 he was discovered by acclaimed music professor Lin Yao Ji during a youth competition. Tang is currently a student at the prestigious China Central Academy of Music - Secondary School Division in Beijing, and is a pupil of Lin Yao Ji, a privilege enjoyed by a select few.
