Bach waited for a long time to hear someone finally giving adequate expression to his music. Glenn's Bach recordings breathe life and brilliance into a music that heretofore seemed doomed to slovenly, flat or completely misguided interpretations. If not for Gould, I wouldn't feel that I really ever heard Bach in all his and His - glory
