| by M. Murota With all the attention on certain Welsh actors of late, I put my bid in for Roger Rees. Perhaps my American background might cause some groans, but still, I have been aware of him for at least 15 years or so. It started when I saw him in production photos of "Nicholas Nickelby" in my grade school English class textbook, and although I had seen him here and there, he is the kind of actor whom you are glad turned up on the screen (big or small, dramatic or comedic role), and know you will enjoy. Recently, I heard a performance of his in the form of an audiobook ("The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde)--thoroughly enjoyed it. Without a doubt, he is a very talented actor, and I hope to see and hear more of him.  Comment on this... |
