Kurupt debuted on the world stage in 1992 as a vital part of the platinum selling Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle. Associated with the group Tha Dogg Pound and one of the pioneers of West Coast hip-hop, his sensational solo debut album was entitled Kuruption and was followed by Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha. He also recorded for HBO's Oz, having the first single from the acclaimed series.
