| by Rick Laporte I think Mars is an up and coming great director, but I prefer jis acting chops. I think his movie Pool Hall Junkies is the best movie I ever saw and I don't shoot pool. The cast was great and the story line was awesome. He also directed "Double Down also called "Zigs" This one is awesome as well. Let's hope for Pool Hall 2 because I loved. I was also wondering what kind of training you had for the movie? | by Ramona Mars...I suffer from a very sever form of systemic lupus and was hospitalized for several months. Before all of that my boyfriend and I used to play quite a lot of pool... but after several rounds of chemo and what not, I just didn't have the strength the play anymore. Not to mention the fact that I was in a wheelchair for about four and a half months. By the time Poolhall Junkies came out, I was able to walk with a cane again. But seeing that film was what kick started me into motion. I found I was simply DYING to pick up a cue again! My boyfriend and I are playing again, I am happy to report. I truly hope you read this, because I genuinly want to thank you for inspiring me to take back what used to be such a huge part of my life. Comment on this... |
