Biography #2 (for Ultimate X: The Movie)

Bruce Hendricks has been making films for over 25 years. While still in his 20s, Hendricks received Emmy recognition for his work on The Wave for ABC. After producing several series and MOWs, Hendricks joined the Walt Disney Company in an executive capacity, overseeing all of the Disney series, movies of the week, and specials. In 1989, Hendricks moved to the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group as Vice President of Motion Pictures for Disney/Touchstone.

In 1992, Hendricks assumed responsibility of physical production for all worldwide live-action motion picture production and its support departments, for The Walt Disney Studios. Among the pictures he has supervised are Pretty Woman, The Rock, Armageddon and The Sixth Sense.

In 2000, Hendricks took a leave of absence from his executive duties to be the Executive Producer on Pearl Harbor (produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and produced and directed by Michael Bay). In addition to his work overseeing physical production, Hendricks is also a film director as well as a musician with a Los Angeles band, Blue Light. Hendricks is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and The Directors Guild of America. A native of Dallas, Texas, Hendricks holds a B.S. degree in film production from the University of Texas.
