Dear Joss -

I hate you. Do you have any idea how silly it feels to be a fifty-five-year-old, heterosexual woman who can't focus on work today because of alternately crying and wanting to compose a ballad entitled "She'll Always Be Buffy To Me". You see, today is the last day that I will ever see an "all new" Buffy. You have made me love a TV show and broken my heart. How could you do this to me?

Dear Joss -

I love you. Thank you for the moments when I contemplated the profundity of Buffy. Thank you for the moments when I debated the inaninity of Buffy. Thank you for inspiring the book of yummy, literate Buffy essays I received for Mothers Day (BtVS and Philosophy). At this moment there's only one thing in life of which I'm sure. She'll always be Buffy to me.
