Both a writer and actor, Sanjeev has performed his own work on stage and television. He started out as a stand up comedian and this led, in 1995, to his involvement in the popular UK television comedy sketch show Goodness Gracious Me with Meera Syal amongst others. The second series of his acclaimed UK television show The Kumars at Number 42 is now airing, and he has a three picture screen writing deal with Miramax.
