Dear Mr Yang,
I just saw Yiyi last night in Auckland New Zealand for the first time. I usually have no patience for long movies but Yiyi made me sit throught the night.

Just would like to say that I was totally inspired the little boy Yang-yang and was proud of showing the movie to a friend from South Africa who knows so little about Chinese culture and Taiwan and thinks so little about Asian. I think somehow Yiyi touched his soul somehow.

Anyway, please keep up to your great work and I look forward to seeing your next film.

Dear Lana - we were friends in Taiwan back in 1987 - 1989. I Googled your name and found this posting. I will search for this movie upon your recommendation!!! I think so fondly of my time in beautiful Taiwan
