Ruth Platt

Ruth Platt, an Oxford University graduate, trained at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

Her stage work includes productions of Leonce and Lena (staged by David Farr at the Gate Theatre in Dublin), The Nun (staged by Julian Forsyth), Richard III (staged by Guy Retallack), and Under Milk Wood (staged by Grace O'Malley).

Platt's U.K. film credits include starring in Mehrean Saigol's In Too Deep and Steven Leslie's Peccadillo; and appearances in David Kane's This Year's Love and Brad Butler's Home Truths.

Her telefilm credits include Ruth Rendell's Thornapple (directed by Mary McMurray), Murder Rooms (directed by Paul Seed), and the recent Hallmark production of The Prince and the Pauper (directed by Giles Foster). She has recently appeared in a recurring role on the popular series Holby City.

Platt is a trained singer and pianist.
