Julia Rayner
The U.K. actress earned her B.A. at Middlesex University, and graduated with Honors, in Performance Art.
Rayner's stage work includes productions in which she has directed herself: as all seven characters in Jim Cartwright's Two, at the Finborough Theatre; and in a male role in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.
She has also starred in Snow Shoes, staged by Mike Dalton at the Manchester Royal Exchange; and the Lyric Hammersmith productions of Escape (staged by Mac Macdonald) and Fossil Woman (staged by Helena Uren). She toured Russia with the Perpetual Motion Theatre's production of The Body Politic (staged by Emi Slater), which was honored at the Volgograd International Festival.
Her telefilms include Sara Cox's Dear Nelson (as Simone de Beauvoir) and Plain Pleasures; Ian Cross' Memo; and Danny Miller's The Gift.
