| by Rob Desgrottes I admired Zoe since she did Crossroads. I was watching the film with my baby cousins and I was so attracted to her right away, I never forgot her name. On Drumline, she took my breath away with her beauty and talent on screen. Then, later on I caught the Pirates on the Carribean film and I was very surprised to see her as part of the cast. I see Zoe Saldana as a very talented and diverse actress in this generation. No one has to tell me to pay attention to her on screen because I was already on her corner. I dont know if she is insterested in Dominicans, but in the films her strenght, her ability is common in Dominicans people when they have the opportunity to grow. | by Laura Zoe and I were classmates back in Newtown H.S. in Queens, NY. I must say that she had a special aura about her. She wasn't the typical girl. She didn't make many friends but she was liked. I liked the fact that she didn't feel like she had to fit in. I only knew about her career when I saw Center Stage. I thought to myself, "This girl looks familiar." So I rented it and realized it was her. I am very happy for her and hope that everything goes they way she wants. We do need more minorities in the Hollywood industry and I think she has what it takes. It made me realize that I can also reach for the stars. Keep representing Dominicans to the fullest.
