Cannon began performing at the tender age of eight and by twelve he was performing his music and stand-up routines. At sixteen, Nick headed for Hollywood to perform his stand-up routine at world-renowned comedy venues including The Improv, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store, along with comedians Chris Tucker, Damon Wayans and Chris Rock. In addition to acting & stand-up, Nick signed a recording contract with Jive Records, and is preparing to debut his self-titled album in the fall. Cannon has been busy in the studio recording tracks with powerhouse producing team The Neptunes, and collaborating with major music stars R. Kelly and B2K.
Cannon recently finished production on Shall We Dance starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez, along with providing his voice for the animated feature Garfield as Louis the City Mouse.
