Marcus Raboy makes his feature film directorial debut with Friday After Next. A top music video director, Raboy is the mastermind behind many of contemporary music's most powerful images and story-telling themes. Friday After Next marks the directors fourth collaboration with Ice Cube, having previously directed the rapper's videos, Guerrillas in the Mist, Wicked, and You Know How We Do It, which won a Music Video Producers Association Award.
Raboy recently shot Westside Connection's music video It's the Holidaze which includes footage from Friday After Next and features a few of the cast members from the movie. He has also directed music videos for such diverse talent as Sting, Santana, LiL' Kim, Mary J. Blige, Naughty by Nature and the multi-platinum rock band Staind.
