Although his enormous success in the television show Seven Lives and in Santiago Segura's Torrente have made him extremely popular in Spain in the last couple of years, JAVIER CAMARA has been working since the early nineties, in theatre (Harold Pinter's The Homecoming), film (Allegre ma non troppo and Cuarteto de La Habana, both by Fernando Colomo) and television. He also participated recently in Julio Medem's Lucia and Sex and is currently shooting Torremolinos 1974, directed by Pablo Berger.
